Site LoGISticsSync LoGIStics is an application that enables the seamless integration between ESRI’s ArcGIS and your Land Records system(s). A companion product to Timmons Group’s Parcel LoGIStics parcel maintenance software, Sync Logistics manages the automated population and update of Land Records data records when splits, merges, subdivisions, and/or boundary changes occur in your GIS application. Additionally, Sync LoGIStics provides the tools to populate your Land Records system with fields of data derived from other GIS layers within your Geodatabase.

The Technology

Sync LoGIStics is a combination of ArcObjects application and database functionality. The product manages edit events within ArcMap, recognizing when parcel records change, and creates transactional records in an underlying database transaction layer. The process packages these changes and incorporates them into the land records database - thereby synchronizing editing activities within ArcGIS and popular permitting, CAMA, tax and other land records systems. Sync LoGIStics can also be configured to reconcile and post these transactions to historical tables, providing a lineage between parent and child for each parcel transaction made over time.

Spatial Data Query Functionality

Site LoGIStics enables users to automatically capture and transfer GIS overlay information to land records systems as well. Using custom spatial overlay and query capabilities, as parcel records are added, any variety of underlying political, environmental, demographic or other GIS layer data can be packaged and supplied as part of the synchronization process.
